The laboratory of a certain Dr. Kline would appear to be quite the simple place; you had your usual test tubes and awkward-looking creatures in cages..however, if one were to venture further into the facility, they would find what Kline was really up to: gene splicing. The doctor took in the formerly normal kids when they were very young, with promises of helping them. Instead, they were spliced with one, two, or even three animals just for the doctor's amusement. Will they ever escape, and if they do, how will they ever survive in this seemingly "new" world?

Info: Nook was named by one of the nicer scientists. She was originally named "Carol Winston"; until she was taken away from her family, that is. Nook's personality is normal...naive, unusually trusting. Though, she does have a habit of being quite cunning and always getting her way due to her fox genes.
Extra?: Nook's eyesight if fairly keen. She also has a three foot wingspan. She is able to fold her wings unaturally close to her body to keep them from being seen. (They don't go into her back or anything like that XD) She's also fairly slim in size.

Info: Vin grew up in the lab, or at least that's what he's been told. He'd been the only one to truly look after Nook as if she were his sister. The two, sadly, are of no relation. To make himself more friendly, he goes by the same last name as her so he doesn't scare her by caring for her.
Extra?: None of his features show except his unnaturally long fluffy brown and black wolf tail and his long-ish pointy black Doberman ears. He is able to run pretty fast, and even the smallest taste of blood could send him on a rampage.

Info: Red is a normal guy. He loves to party and yea just because he's 18 he can go out into the world. Only he doesn't. He stays with his sister to keep her safe. he doesn't uderstand why she won't leave with him but he's not one to fight her. He just wants her to be happy. If that means he stays in that home for her then so be it. He does like someone but he won't say who.
Extra?: He can fold his wings against his back so close that you can't see them. He can even have on a tight shirt and you can't notice them.

Nook's bright brown-orange eyes glanced around the room they were all kept in. The one she thought to know as her brother was leaning against the wall, lost in thought. She had yet to truly speak to anyone other than Vin; he was all she knew. Slowly, today, that would change. Her eyes scanned the room warily: there were two guys and two other girls...surely she'd be able to speak to someone. "Hello?" she called softly; Vin's eyes opened at the sound of her voice...his eyes scanning the others cautiously.

Serena looked up. Her emerald green eyes stood out from herself as she looked around the room. A little girl spoke and she got up from her chair she was in and knelt down to her level as best as she could. "Hi." Serena said sweetly. She knw what it was like to be the new girl and not know anyone she she decided to be sweet.

Red leaned up against the wall as he watched Serena go over. he wasn't about to say anything yet. he was to busy thinking and frankly...he hated when he got in one of his 'moods' and didn't want to talk. It usually pissed off Serena and they fought.

Mina opened her eyes and yawned. "Hello" she said in return to the girl who had talked. She knew Meeko was watching her closely. He was so over protective sometimes.
